The month of June can be a relaxing, fragrant and joyful time of year. But in some parts of the country, it can also be a time for flooding, tornadoes, and wildfires. Luckily for us pet parents, June is National Pet Preparedness Month giving us all a helpful reminder of what to do in case of an emergency or natural disaster.
Key Items to Have in Your Pet 's Preparedness Kit:
1. Make sure your pet's are all properly identified.
2. It is a good idea to have a list of options and contact numbers for where you might go. Whether you bring them to a friend or family member’s home, or to one of many pet friendly hotels, or a local shelter.
3. Have enough food and water on hand for 3 to 5 days. Don't forget any supplements they are taking. Also make sure to pack the bowls.
4. Medical Records and photographs are a good idea to have on hand too. Just in case you need to go to a DVM who is unfamiliar with your pet's health history or in case you need to prove ownership.
5. Leashes and/or pet carriers are a good idea to have ready to go too.

Adopt a Shelter Cat Month: Save a life; Adopt a cat! If you can't adopt, donate money or a needed item to your local animal shelter.
Pet Appreciation Week June 4th-10th: I am sure you appreciate your pet every day, however how about doing something special? What could that be? Offering a delicious treat, taking them for an extra long walk, or a game of Frisbee.

After being referred to your company by a friend I ordered the Pet Wellness Life Stress Scan. My dog has had constant ear infections and skin problems for years. Nothing seemed to help. I even switched to raw. Unbeknownst to me I had been giving her Salmon and Whitefish food to help with the skin issues as she couldn't eat chicken. I received my results and of course the chicken/egg was on there as well as pork/ham and rabbit which she had never eaten. Then I get to the Ah ha moment, the fish. She shouldn't have Cod, Herring, SALMON, shellfish and Trout. She had been eating Salmon and Whitefish food for years. I had also given her some of the vegetables that were on her list.
