This 100% organic herbal formula is synergistically designed to help with skin issues. Skin problems are often associated with toxin build up within the body. In order to cleanse the outside, the inside must also be cleansed.
We start with burdock root which has long been known for its liver and blood cleansing and blood building properties. We add red clover herb, which is also known for its blood cleansing effects. As the blood gets cleansed, the body has even more toxins to eliminate, so we add nettles to support and detoxify the the kidneys and dandelion for the liver. We also support the liver with milk thistle seed.
As all those toxins are released, there may be some intestinal upset, so we add licorice root and slippery elm. Licorice is an intestinal anti-inflammatory and slippery elm has been reported to coat and heal any lesions that may cause pain and diarrhea.
Astragalus is added to boost the immune system which may become stressed due to the toxins.
