While we understand that larger numbers can seem more impressive, our mission is to provide meaningful insight, not inflated statistics.

Some pet intolerance tests increase their total count by listing raw, cooked, freeze-dried, dehydrated, or otherwise processed versions of the same ingredient as separate items. While we respect that approach, we believe that if an ingredient is identified as a potential concern, the preparation method is often less important than the ingredient itself.

That's why our Pet Intolerance Test evaluates 395+ carefully selected food and environmental items chosen to provide meaningful, actionable information. We don't duplicate categories or artificially expand our panel simply to advertise a larger number.

Just as importantly, our goal isn't to overwhelm already stressed pet parents with pages of repetitive results. It's to provide clear, practical information that helps you make informed decisions with confidence.

We continually review and thoughtfully add new items when they provide value, and we're always open to suggestions from our community. But we'll never increase our numbers simply for marketing purposes.
