How To Collect Samples

  • Hair Sample

    Trim off a quarter-sized amount of hair. Hairless pets can submit a saliva sample alone.

  • Saliva Sample

    Hold in the center of the swab and rub along the pet’s gum line and cheek area. Repeat for each swab, or use all three at once.

  • Mail Test

    Place both hair & saliva samples in the biohazard bag. Then, place the biohazard bag in the self-addressed return envelope and send it to us!

Results are not a life sentence!

We recommend re-testing every 6 months! Results are a snapshot in time and stressors can change due to time, over-exposure, environmental factors, or external stress.

WOW!!!!!!

We used this test for our two young frenchie because we were having issues finding food that they could both eat and that they both wanted to eat. In addition to that, both dogs were showing signs of intolerances. Lo and behold, their intolerance lists were long and they only had a few items that they BOTH were intolerant of. Long story short- it has been 4 months on a new food program that works for the two critters and what a difference in coats, poops, itchiness, weight gain/loss, and energy levels! I can't wait to retest this summer and see if there are any changes. Thank you!

Relief at Last!

For some background knowledge, I had taken my pug, Mogley, who is fed a fresh food diet and who is overall super healthy, to the vet 5 or 6 times over the span of 2ish years for yeasty ears. One visit, I didn't get to see the vet I normally see and this new vet told my that Mogley had allergies (which didn't surprise me, most pugs have bad allergies) and recommended putting him on Apoquel. I had heard the affects it could have on the liver, questioned him on it, and he proceed to deny it. Well, I wasn't putting my baby on a drug for the rest of his life. I had seen a few people that I follow on Instagram purchasing the Glacier Peaks Intolerance Test and I, being easily influenced, decided to purchase in for Mogley. Best decision I have ever made for him - besides feeding him a fresh food diet! Come to find out, he is very intolerant (came back in the red) to chicken and salmon, which are 2 proteins I fed pretty often. Now, about 3 months later, I have removed all of the foods that came back in the red and yellow and he is THRIVING! No more yeasty ears and he is scratching less! Over time, I will reintroduce some of the foods that came back in the yellow but, for right now, I'm just so happy to see him doing so well!

TL;DR - Worth every penny!! No more yeasty ears!

Finally got the answers I needed to help my cat

My poor cat is finally on a path of healing after what ended up costing less than a single vet visit. The results came back so fast!
