Paw-Gest® Digestive enzymes for dogs and cats is specially formulated to address the specific needs of our furry friends. These enzymes aid in digestion, assimilation, and absorption while unlocking potential energy from food by properly putting them into a form easily recognizable by the body. These digestive enzymes for dogs and cats also reduce digestive distress, such as dog diarrhea, gas, vomiting, and cat hairballs. They can also discourage the overgrowth of intestinal yeast infections in dogs and cats.

Digestive enzymes are beneficial when feeding kibble or foods with starchy root vegetables because the carnivore diet does not create enough of the digestive enzyme amylase. The low formation of amylase can set the stage for yeast overgrowth in the intestinal system, causing chronic ear and skin issues. Paw-Gest® digestive enzymes for dogs and cats is designed to help your pet absorb and assimilate their meals.

Recommended Usage:

Feed with each meal, moisten with water or broth. Do not feed dry. Use as needed. For raw or gently cooked diets cut dose in half.

Dosage Recommendations: based on pet's weight.

Up to 20lbs.    =1/8 tsp
21lbs. - 50lbs. =1/4 tsp
51lbs. - 75lbs. =1/2 tsp
Over 75lbs.     =3/4 tsp

Please keep in mind that every pet is different! When it comes to introducing new foods and/or supplements, some pets may benefit from a slow introduction. Starting with 1/4 - 1/2 of the recommended dose and working your way up to the full recommended dose can help! And don't forget, supplements are designed to be used supplementary and intermittently, meaning, at some point the pet needs a rest!
