2027 Pet Of The Year Contest Rules, Conditions, and Prizes

🗓️ Contest Period

The 2027 Pet of the Year Contest begins on August 1, 2026 and ends on August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM MST. Entries and votes received after the contest period will not be counted.

No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

🌟 Eligibility

Open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.

📝 How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

📸 Upload a photo of their pet
🐾 Provide their pet's name
📧 Provide a valid email address

All entries must be submitted through the official contest platform.
Please note: All submissions are manually reviewed and approved before appearing in the contest gallery. Please allow 24–48 hours for your entry to be approved. Submitting the same entry more than once will not speed up the approval process.

📷 Photo Requirements

By submitting a photo, you represent and warrant that:

The pet featured is your pet or a pet for which you have permission to submit an entry.
You own or have permission to use the submitted photograph.
The photograph does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
The photograph does not contain offensive, unlawful, defamatory, or inappropriate content.

Glacier Peak Holistics reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that does not comply with these requirements.

📣 Voting

Voting is limited to one vote per day per email address. Voters may return each day during the contest period to cast another vote.
Glacier Peak Holistics reserves the right to remove fraudulent, automated, duplicate, purchased, or otherwise manipulated votes.

🌈 In Memory Of Entries

Participants may enter pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Three special calendar spots will be reserved to honor these beloved companions. Please indicate during entry if your pet is being submitted as an In Memory Of tribute.

🏆 Winner Selection

The 2027 Pet Of The Year will be determined based on the total number of verified votes received during the contest period.

One pet will be selected as Pet of the Year and featured on the cover of the 2027 Glacier Peak Holistics Digital Calendar. Additional pets will be featured throughout the calendar, including dedicated In Memory Of tribute placements.

In the event of a tie, Glacier Peak Holistics reserves the right to determine the final winner at its sole discretion.

Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted using the email address provided during entry by September 11th, 2026 and may be required to verify eligibility before prizes are awarded. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within a reasonable period, or is determined to be ineligible, Glacier Peak Holistics reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

Rights Granted by Entrants

By entering the contest, you grant Glacier Peak Holistics a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and promote your submitted photo, pet's name, and any accompanying story or content for marketing, advertising, social media, website, email, calendar, and other promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Entrants retain ownership of their original photographs.

Privacy

Information collected through this contest will be used in accordance with Glacier Peak Holistics' Privacy Policy and for the administration of this contest.

General Conditions

Glacier Peak Holistics reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper operation of the contest.

By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and accept the decisions of Glacier Peak Holistics as final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.
