One of our pups has had intermittent skin issues as long as weāve had him. My aunt told me that she did this test for her dog so I ordered one as well. Shipping the sample took a while via USPS but once it was received I had the results within 2 days. Turns out my dog has high intolerance for the main ingredients in the food I was feeding him, along with many other intolerances. Weāve got his food mostly switched to a new brand and already there is a marked improvement with his skin condition. Iāve spent a lot of money over the years on **** injections, wish I had all of this information sooner!
Weāve now done this test for four of our five pets. Two cats and two dogs. I love the peace of mind knowing what Iām giving them agrees with them. I even check their test results for supplements and treat ingredients. Our dogs were eating kibble and canned food. When we got the results back they both had loose stools frequently and one was vomiting way too often. We switched their food to fresh and then raw according to the results and whew (!!!) what a difference. Solid poops, morning vomits are gone, gone, gone (snack of correct food at night solved that one), and dogs have boundless energy. Our two IBD kitties are also thriving and they are no longer confined to prescription diets that were not all that great for them. If you are wondering whether to try this donāt hesitate. Youāre no longer in the dark after you get the results.
Knowledge is power and now thanks to glacier pet we have just that for both of our frenchies. Now we have the Knowledge needed to cook good nutrition for these two. We had been giving them kibble and who knew how many allergens we had been feeding them daily.
This test was life changing for our family! The information it supplied to us was essential to resolving our border collie's constant itching. We discovered she has an intolerance to the most common proteins and fillers found in kibble. We have now switched her to some rather uncommon protein options (duck, kangaroo) and she is back to being goofy and enjoying her life again. Truly, we would not have been able to figure out her specific (and numerous) intolerances/sensitivies without the help of Glacier Peak!
Iāve made diet changes for my five year old French bulldog after getting the results and Iām seeing improvements with almost no regurgitation and her coat is getting shiny
