The link between cancer and inflammation is traced back to the late 1800s when Rudolf Virchow discovered it. Dubbed “the father of comparative pathology” (the field which compares specific human pathologies with those seen in animals), he studied disease and said:
“Between animal and human medicine there is no dividing line — nor should there be.”
Research continues today.
In an article titled “Inflammation and Cancer: A Comparative View” that appeared in the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2011, author Wallace B. Morrison, DVM states:
“Whatever its origin, inflammation in the tumor microenvironment has many cancer-promoting effects and aids in the proliferation and survival of malignant cells.”

How Can Inflapotion Help a Dog with Cancer?
Cancer pain is generally caused by inflammation. The ingredients in Inflapotion are proven to eliminate inflammation, as well as work on a cellular level to help repair cells.
We had a customer that had a dog with a cancerous tumor on her left front leg. The tumor was about the size of a large walnut when she was diagnosed and she was in excruciating pain. They were considering euthanasia because no amount of narcotic pain medication gave her relief.
This dog could not get up and would not eat or drink on her own. As a last effort, the customer chose to try Inflapotion.
After the first dose, the dog had stopped crying in pain. After the second dose, she got up in the night and drank water on her own. She was 7 at the time and actually lived for another three years and died of natural causes.
Her tumor never went away, but it did shrink in size some and did not grow again.
How Does It Work?
I created Inflapotion in 1996 for a horse with a severe inflammation issue in his legs. The swelling was completely gone in 32 hours.
Over the next few years, we used it with our older dogs as well. The results were amazing. Back then, the vets only gave Rimadyl and Prednisone for the older, stiff dogs.
We all know about the side effects from those drugs. With Inflapotion, there were no side effects other than an old dog acting like a puppy again 🐶✨
The ingredients are very simply nature’s answer to inflammation. Marshmallow root and slippery elm are on the top of the list in this category.
We also add a blood cleanser, as when all those inflamed cells die off, they need to be eliminated. With red clover, that process starts before the toxins reach the liver, thereby not stressing the liver.
We also add other herbs that help to regenerate the cells and repair the damage caused by inflammation and injury.

Are There Any Side Effects?
We have not seen any interactions with drugs with Inflapotion.

Our HerbAprin® is a great counterpart to Inflapotion®. We recommend it be used “as needed” for the relief of acute pain. As soon as relief is observed, reduce the dose or eliminate it after two to four days.
We don’t recommend using it on a full-time basis.
